Oh, the dreaded “About” page that all bloggers have to painstakingly put together….I know that there are not a lot of people who will actually read this so I’ll keep it short and sweet.
My name is Keely Reeves. I am in the dorky girl with the hat and glasses in the photo. (Taken by me, fyi. On a cell phone.)
This blog, titled “The Inner Workings” (actually the name of a fictional blog in a fanfiction I plan to write), is purely for me. I’d like to say that it is for the readers but really, it is so I can get back to my writing. Do I want you to read my blog? Of course! That’s the second reason why I created this! However, how many of you will actually do so? So I won’t be put off if no one reads my blog. I will still continue to write.
This blog, besides being a place where I can get back to my writing, is also for my rants about fandoms, politics, school, current events, etc. Whatever I so desire to write about will be here. I will also post pictures of my art projects, too many memes, and far too many puns.
I am a college student. I attend UA Little Rock where I also work. Come Spring 2019, I will be done with both bachelor’s. So yes, it is crunch time!
Since I am so getting close to graduating, I will also have a two pages dedicated to both my majors: Professional and Technical Writing and Motion Pictures. As the weeks progress, this blog will be updated a lot so I can ensure that it looks professional but also fun. I apologize in advance for that but I want to make sure it looks good. In the end, I want this to not only be a blog but also a professional portfolio.
I don’t post frequently (working on that). I am a very busy person and honestly, sometimes I don’t know what to write.
Besides writing I enjoy: painting, drawing, photography. I am hoping to delve deeper into photography this summer. I have even considered having a minor in photography (or in art, or another bachelor’s in art therapy….as you can see, I have too many options) I haven’t decided yet. I figured I need to finish both my bachelor’s first.
Do I know what I’m doing? No. Not really. I just want to write, draw, paint, take pictures and maybe one day be a famous movie producer. How will I get there, I don’t know. But I will get there. And if I’m dedicated enough, this blog will document the journey.
